Working Principle
After being placed into the high-temperature aluminum melt, the slag remover quickly melts and activates, adsorbing and encapsulating alumina inclusions and suspended impurities in the molten aluminum, weakening the adhesion of the slag, and causing the molten aluminum and waste residue to stratify and aggregate, generating dry and loose slag that is easy to clean. At the same time, it forms a protective layer to inhibit the oxidation and burning loss of the molten aluminum.

Advantages

1. Easy slag removal; low aluminum content in the slag effectively reduces aluminum loss.
2. Clean slag removal reduces inclusions and porosity defects in the cast billet, suitable for continuous casting in round billet crystallizers.
3. Low smoke production, non-corrosive to the furnace body, and no adverse pollution to the molten aluminum.
4. Also provides a mild refining effect, improving the purity of the molten aluminum; the effect is even better when used with titanium boron refining agents.
