Description
Made with high-purity graphite substrate, and impregnated with a special anti-oxidation agent to seal the graphite pores, the shaft and blades are precision-machined as a single unit. This is a consumable component for degassing in aluminum melt refining.
During operation, argon and nitrogen gases are introduced, and the high-speed rotation disperses tiny bubbles, adsorbing hydrogen and oxide inclusions from the molten aluminum, thus improving the purity of the cast billet.
Newly installed rotors have optimally designed geometry and degassing performance. However, with increased operating time, the geometry of ordinary carbon graphite is rapidly altered, leading to a decrease in degassing efficiency. In contrast, composite graphite materials, due to their excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, exhibit minimal dimensional changes during use, ensuring consistently stable degassing performance.
